GoDaddy Installation issues

ok, i've browsed the forums through and through, but could not find an answer to my issue...

like many others before me, I am trying to install osTicket on my Godaddy site, however during the "install" process i hit a snag and can't for the life of me figure out what the hell is wrong:

"Unable to open config file for writing. Permission denied!"

I have tried many variations from setting permissions on ALL recurring folders and files in the support (upload) folder to 777, to re-uploading the files to the server.

I am running on a windows server, running 5.x MySql and 5.x PHP, the "short_open_tag" is set to "on" for both master and local values, and i'm not sure what else needs to be done...

can anyone point me in the right direction?

I gave this a try to verify that i had access to the SQL db, and it worked, so it must be an issue with the other files? It's just odd though because i set the files to chmod777 through filezilla's ftp client, so in theory it SHOULD have access to the config files

OK! stupid me finally realized my fallacy in the previous post...

I've been using Linux so much that CHMOD was the first thing that popped into my head, however since i'm running on a WINDOWS platform, it doesn't recognize that command!

The Fix:

went into godaddy's file manager, clicked the "include" folder, and set the folder with the permission "write"... and presto! it works (for now). :
