Remote cron for one.com

We are running OSticket on a one.com domain.

One.com doesn't allow cron jobs, so we need to run the cron job from an other location. Opening the cron.php file from an other location does not work.

Is there a script, that executes the cron.php on the server, and that we can be activated by loading a page on our website.

We have concidered to use autocron ( this is wat we currently do) but we would like the users to receive a auto reply message after max 10 min.

We can't be online all the time to do the cron via the autocron on staff.

Is there anyone who can help us with this, as we have not a lot of PHP knowhow...

Have you tried just using Admin Panel -> Settings

and turning on

Enable Auto Cron: Enable cron call on staff's activity

Just a thought. :)

Thanks for your advice. Thats wat we are doing now. But we aren't always in the office, but @ customers to troubleshoot their systems. In the mean time we would like the incomming e-mails to integrate, and to give the customer a ticket number.

So we need to do the cron.php.

We are also using drupal as CMS, for drupal we have a cron job that runs atomatically but from an other site. There we just call the page cron.php ant that works fine. But for OSticket we can not call the cron.php from outside...

Before we where using eticket and there we had the cron.php that could also be called from an other server.

Anyone have a simple "auto refresh" trick or similar that would allow the cron tasks to be triggered on a regular interval whenever any staff member is logged in? (Or even a special new page that some staff member could leave open all the time just to perform this function?)

Pretty low-tech and clugy, but would be helpful for those of us without cron ability (shared hosts, etc.)
