Email Error: secure access to this domain is disabled

I am trying to set up fetching of email of a specific account. In the mail account details I have encryption set to none - because there is no SSL into the server.

I get the following error when trying to save the settings:

Can not authenticate to POP3 server: secure access to this domain is disabled
