Images Problems within Tables

I have customized the theme, however when I insert an image into a table () I get a padding of 2px or so.

I have spent about 8 hours trying to find the issue but with no success.

I have gone thru main css and thru these threads but I can not find any information.

Can someone tell me where it is putting a padding on images.

Here is the site:

it is the Home New Ticket and Ticket Status black buttons.

They need to be tight as it is here:

None of the site are promoted and are still in dev.

OK I cleaned up all the errors and now it is worse.

There has got to be somewhere a variable I missing
