One User to Multiple Departments?

Hi everyone, kinda new to all these. Installed successfully, and everything is ok, just awesome. However, I can't seem to figure out how to assign one user to multiple departments.

Already created the departments but I want the depts to be serviced by one user for now, until we create other user accounts to handle the individual depts.

Is this possible at all, and if yes, please I will appreciate a brief explanation on how to do this.

You can do this via user groups. Go to the staff tab in the admin panel. You can either add the user to the admin group, or if you don't want them to have admin privlidges, you can create a new group for them and select which departments you want them to have access to that way.

Then just add the staff member to that group.
