Add duedate to new ticket form!?

Hi All,

I'm looking to add the due date field and date picker to the new ticket form.. I have added the php so far which seems to be working ok but I now need to add the js for the date picker and css. I have located the js and css in the scp folders but not sure where to go from here.

I have used the edit ticket code as a template for the due date so far but im now stuck!

Hope someone can point me in the right direct!?

Going to keep playing around with this until I get it to work.. Just got to work out where everything is as i'm new to osticket. If I do get it working I will post my findings. :) In the mean time if anyone does know how to do this order can point me in the right direction would be really grateful for your help! :)

Ok now I had a real chance to sort I found it was all rather simple.. Just updated my head inc within the client include folders. Made a new js folder with the date picker js and pointed to it within the header.. Brought the code over from the "staff" create new ticket in to the "client" open ticket file and added the insert sql command to the client section within class.ticket.php which is a copy of the command a few lines below from the staff section.

I know not many would need a due date to be set by the client but If you do need a guide on how to do this let me know and I will post it! :)

Any chance you might be willing to throw together a set by step set of instructions on how to do the mod?

I am still going to have a go at it, but I am sure some of the more inexperienced coders would appreciate it! ;)

I have a ticket template that I needed this for, but hadn't dug into this yet... so thank you!

Also Can the due date be made to be a required?

I have a lot of customers putting tickets in via the web and they never put a due date in.

This would help a lot
