I've spent a couple of days trying to get my head around this one, and I'm not getting very far with it. I've upgraded the database and removed the old (1.6 RC5) modified system and replaced it with a fresh 1.6 ST installation which I can modify as required. Got most of the mods in place except for this one:
I'm attempting to put a switch on the Open tickets page that allows a user (as admin, say) to select whether they want to view all tickets or just those applicable to their department. Any suggestions on how I'd go about this?
My PHP/MySQL isn't particularly good, so any work I've done over the last few days has just resulted in various bits breaking. I'm essentially working with a fresh install with data imported from the previous version.

Managed to create and patch this so it's now working. I'll paste the mod as and when I have time.
