The problem I'm having is that I can't edit my templates. At first, I was able to copy and change the osTicket template, but now I can't change either one, although I can copy, any template that I create or that is already there cannot be edited. There are no obvious errors (callout errors next to fields), just a notice in a red div at the top that says Error Updating the Template Try Again.

One thing that is weird is that when I copy a template, the code for the template appears above the page (above the container div) until I start to "edit" and then it goes away. I should have copied it, but I don't want to do it again for fear that my whole installation will blow up.

Let me add that I can't upgrade because I have too many customizations that I didn't document. I have posted several times about this and the conclusion has always been that I should stay with the version I have. (I use my support site every day, but I'm the only staff and I only have a few customers, so it works well enough for me, but I would like to fix these errors.)

Thanks,

Karen

Error Updating the Template Try Again

This would take my variable PrinterName from NB and set the default printer to be that printer, right?

When I try, I get an error that "there is no printer called PrinterName"

I set that variable using the RAC plugin list.
