Attachment issue

Hi,

New install, everything works great apart from the attachments and I am sure its something I have not done correctly.

I setup a new folder called uploads within my osTicket dir, set the permissions of uploads to 777, and when I tried a test ticket it goes ahead and creates a subfolder but the attachment is not present. I setup the accepted file types and tested with a 4k file.

Can anyone advise what I need to do to get this up and running?

It could be that your tmp directory (upload_tmp_dir) is not set correctly (a PHP thing, not an osTicket thing). Have you tried any other file upload scripts?

Not tried any other file upload scripts.. but what I will do is set someting up and see if I can get the bottom of it.

to fix this issue you need to use the full path as i found in another post.

I have osticket installed in root directory so the path to my attachments folder is written like this /home/username/public_html/attachments

for your path it maybe something like /home/username/public_html/uploads

you just need to use the full path and you should be sweet!
