Get Approval From another Department

Hi,

After raising tickets, it will go to the appropriate department. Once particular department received tickets they need approval to appropriate mentor before processing tickets. Consider the following example:

Person A - Employee

Person B - Travel Department Admin

Person C - Mentor for Person A

Person A who is raising ticket for Travel Deperment for his / her travel. Travel Department Admin Person B needs approval from his / her Mentor Person C through mail (Mail has sent to Person C automatically). Once Travel Department Admin Perosn B receives mail from Mentor Person C, he can able to process ticket. Before process Person A and Person B should receive approval mail from Person C stating that your travel has been approved. If it is rejected in that case also both Perosn A and Person B should receive mail stating that Travel request is rejected.

All these functionality is possible in Osticket?

I believe that it does work the way you want.

Person A could assign ticket to Person B and transfer ticket to the Travel Department Admin

When person B was done with it they would assign it to Person C and transfer the ticket to the Mentor for Person A

They way that it is implemented in OSTicket, person A and B would have to do two different actions to get what you are after. (Would take literally 15 seconds, tops.)
