Bellsouth email setting?

I have everything set up and ready to go. I can't get it to work with my email.

It gives me unable to login, check smtp settings...

I've tried port 110 and port 25.

The login password are correct.

The email settings work fine in my emails program...

Depends on host, they might require SMTP authentication which is on port 587 (not 25).

Since you said Bellsouth, is this the email address provided to you by your your ISP?

If so, many ISPs block connections to the mail servers from outside of their system-i.e. you could only connect to it from a Bellsouth IP.
