I'm running windows 2003 sbs and osTicket 1.6. I'm not running exchange, I'm using google apps gmail for our mailhost, and the only thing I'm really interested in is receiving an email notification anytime one of my users submits a ticket.
I installed WAMP, then osTicket. Installation went fine. Users can submit tickets to their black little hearts content. What doesn't happen is a notification that a ticket has been submitted get to me.
After reading thru the posts on the forum, this seems to be a common problem with gmail and not a whole lot of fixes for winblows boxes. Can ANYBODY point me in the right direction (DON'T say 'switch to Linux', 'cause it's just not an option)?
osTicket is a great product, I just need to get those notifications...
