text enclosed in < > doesn't get through pipe.php

I've just noticed that in emails that are sent in (we use the pipe method), if they have any text/comments enclosed in < >, the does not appear in the ticket.

For example, email is : hello osticket I have a problem with

appears as : hello osticket I have a problem with

Does anyone know why this might be happening ?

And how to resolve it ?

Its getting stripped because osTickets sees anything in <>'s as HTML which is all stripped.

And I'm guessing that there's absolutely nothing I can do about this ?

Well since osTickets is open source you can always hack it ;) But I haven't gotten around to this particular code yet so I can't help ya out.
