I've looked at numerous ways to display the "Help Topic" on my Staff page. I have removed the "SUBJECT" from all pages because I don't want users submitting their own "SUBJECT" lines. With years of experience in the Help Desk world, too many times you get a subject of "HELP" and that's just not acceptable. I would like to display the "Help Topics" that I have created in the Staff Section (osTicket 1.6.0 (stable)), however there is nothing out there for the Stable version of osTicket to do this. I tried implementing the RC5 code on my development server to test, but it did not work.
So the long of the short of it....anyone done anything like this on Stable? Or possibily just set the open.php page to automatically write whatever Help Topic is selected to the "Subject" field in the database?
(My open.php page doesn't have a subject line available for users, but the field is still in the database)
