Thanks for all the help in advance. I would like to integrate OSticket with LDAP on our intranet. OSticket runs on Win Server 2008 sp2 and php5.2.13 with MySQL and fastCGI.
I have installed OSticket and it runs sublime. Great software, with great functionality. But in order to use it with staff, it needs complete integration with LDAP.
I know there a more threads in this forum about the subject, but I try to generate a step-by-step manual for others as well.
As far as I understand, we need to change code for staff (admins) and clients. It would be great if clients were able to select their name in a list or even better when OStickets recognises the clients username immediatly. I'm not to concerned with the staff side of the story, since I only have to provide new username/passwords to a few administrators. Clients are more important.
Does any one know how to proceed from here?
