I just installed osTicket and was very pleased about it. Only thing i didnt like is the missing multi-language system. I'm german, my customers are german... So I exspected a translation system. I know that there is a full localized version, but i thought it would be a better solution to implement this.
This small patch adds a translation system to allow osTicket to use multiple languages. Languages are providen by a small file for each language. So if you want to have your own language, just copy the en_EN file to nl_NL fr_FR de_DE de_CH, whatever you want to use and voila you can translate the whole project without the need of changing any file. Its a quick & dirty solution but it works :)
I implemented one small example for testing, the welcome string is now in english and german available.
So its not needed to release full scripts in this forum just for small language changes and new languages could be easy shipped with the download.
