Sorry, but there was no reply to the original post... So I thought I would bump the thread rather than clutter the forum with another thread.
1. check Admin Panel -> Settings -> scroll down to "Staff Session Timeout" and check the value. While here you should also check "Client Excessive Logins"
Staff Session Timeout is set to 30 minutes.
Client Excessive Logins is set to 4
So this sounds like it is pretty much ok.
2. PHP is setup wrong -OR- there is a permissions issue with sessions. Please check your php.ini specifically for
There is no php.ini file in the osTicket install folder, but there is one in the parent folder without a session.save_path= item.
osTicket was installed "automatically" by my hosting provider using installatron within cpanel, and they are hesitant to get involved in supporting the installatron. The installation of osTicket is pretty much out of the box, so it should not have any install problems.
PHP version 5.3.10 is used.
