Osticket on Drupal CMS

I have osticket installed on my drupal website, but it is not sending email with ticket no. to user who registers on it.

Also, how can I see osticket settings on my website?

You'll have to enable the setting, the setting can be found under:

http://youosticketsite.domain/osticketdir/scp(http://youosticketsite.domain/osticketdir/scp) -> 'Admin Panel' -> 'Settings' -> Set 'New Ticket' to Yes.

I'm trying to figure out how to do this. I searched this forum, the osTicket wiki... and have found no mention of this. How can the two be integrated?

To log into the admin panel you direct your web browser to:

YOURWEBSITE/osticketDir/scp

change YOURWEBSITE to your domain name.

change osticketDir to the directory that you put OST in.

It will prompt you to log in, use the username and password you setup during installation.

Once you have logged in, in the upper right hand corner click on "Admin Panel".

Click on the "Settings" tab.

Scroll down to "Alerts and Notices"

make sure that "New Ticket Alert:" is enabled.

That's not the issue so much as I'm curious how you install OST into Drupal. Does it bridge user accounts or what?

Not by default no. It would take some coding to make it do otherwise.

OST was not written specifically to integrate with Drupal. There may be a drupal mod that makes it do so however. If you are particularly handy with php you could re-write the OST authentication to pull and utilize Drupal's though.
