email is not working

I just set up soTicket on our server and submitted a ticket for testing. But I didn't receive any confirmation email. Also, there is no email sent to emails set up under Admin. Is there configuration I need to do to get emails? :

Yes, there is:

Settings -> Preferences -> Autoresponders (Global Setting)
