We provide support for a number of on line sites and we are looking at OSTicket as a support system
We do not really want to install a separate system for each domain we support as our operators would have to log into each system separately, when you have 20 or 30 of them, it is just not practical.
Has anyone any experience with setting this up?
We figured it could be done by using departments, adding a field to the department that would assign the department to a particular domain. We would then have multiple departments and multiple domains with staff assigned across departments as necessary
When a Client goes to the ticket entry page, it could check the HTTP Headers for the domain that user entered into their browser and filter the department list for only that domain .
Would appreciate any feedback or suggestion on how to do this without cutting any code, or any mods that someone may have done already
