2 Issues with £ signs and \\
Issue 1
If you use a £ sign within OS ticket anything after the £ sign disappears
Example - I want to add history of
This willl cost £100
Once submitted OS ticket strips the £100 off so all that is recorded is
This will cost (the rest diappears)
Issue 2
If posting a reply to a user if you include \\ as in a unc path, although OS ticket records this in the history, the user only sees on \
Example - I post a reply to a user to go to a UNC path and this is emailed out
Please go to \\server\folder
They will receive in their email Please go to \serverfolder
If you write
Please go to \\\\server\\folder
They will receive a message
Please go to \\server\folder
As with the £ \\ is acting as a delimeter when sending email responses from OS ticket
Hope that makes sense - Someone help this is driving us crazy
