Well the 1st problem is that you haven't really installed it. You have merely just extracted the archive. You should've uploaded just the UPLOAD folder from the archive and just renamed that to helpdesk or whatever name you wish to use.
Then create your MySQL database. Have your username, database name and password at hand. Then you can proceed to install the script by visiting the folder name via this link for example http://www.hire4jobs.com/helpdesk/setup if you have created the folder name using my above instructions.
The MySQL info I've suggested to keep at hand will be needed at the installation screen so make sure all the information is correct. If you still need help installing then feel free to ask and I can offer my help.
