Is there any MODs for running reports? I did find Jays Reporting Panel, but it looked dated and the install instructions were a little fuzzy.

I am looking for a reporting feature that shows historical ticket data and exports. Is there anything out there like that?

Maybe there isn't any kind of reporting but I just opened a ticket asking fo rthe same thing. I would only assume there would be on such a nice ticket system. Maybe it is a mod somewhere but I still ahven't found it anywhere.

I don't see why there should be a Report button, every ticket is checked by a Staff member after all? And a client can only see his own tickets...

Yes indeed. There should be in depth reporting. Especially if there is billing involved with a client. I am working on mod just for that. I don't know if my particular mod will be useful to anyone else as it being built to suit my very specific situation, which includes detailed billing.

I don't know how long it's going to take me to get it all figured out but when I do I'll send it up. Though, I can't say it's really a mod, it's more sql and ferreting out the data I want to create reports I require.

But yes, detailed and selective reporting is a very much needed piece to osTickets package.
