Issue with ticket posted times

Hi,

We are about to implement OSTicket replacing eTicket in our company.

The server's time is set correctly to GMT+10 (EST), no daylight saving (DST) as we are located in Queensland, Australia where DST does not apply.

Set OSTicket to the same settings but finding when a ticket is created or something posted to a ticket the time is an hour behind what it should be.

Ticking 'Observe Daylight Saving' in my preferences makes the time appear correctly but technically we shouldn't have to do this.

Any ideas on how to fix or do we just do what I said above in preferences?

Even if the time on the server is correct, the timezone settings for PHP may be different from the server time.

You can use the 'date.timezone' setting in your php.ini file to change it.
