Emails are not deleted from server-keep regenerating as new tickets

It seems that I have a similar problem with someone else from this forum: I have about 5 different emails that are not deleted from the server although I have enable the option to DELETE fetched messages.

Those emails keep regenerating themselves as new tickets, regardless if I mark them closed or I delete the tickets.

Any idea why? Maybe some permissions on a configuration file where the OST is writing the info about how to delete fetched messages?

I am running the latest stable version.

Are any of the emails banned or sent from one of the system emails? Anything on the admin dashboard (syslog) about Ticket Denied?

Nope, nothing like that. All the emails are normal user emails sent directly to the email address that is managed by OST and nobody else.

The syslog is clean as well...I have no idea where to start looking for a problem...

FIXED!

My developer had to switch the logic in one php file, so it does the fetching and deletion of the message a bit earlier in the code.

If anyone needs the exact details of this, can send me a pm.

Great - but why do you think it is necessary for people to PM you to get the fix? Won't it make more sense to share the fix with the community and let everyone benefit? :

It is not that simple for me to get the code details from the developer as it is very busy..but I'll try to post it here in the very near future:)

Hey vdgraaf,

If you have access to the file he changed you could just post the file here using the tags. Then people could compare it to the current distro file and see what was changed.
