microsoft exchange server setup

Hello anyone out there..

I have no clue what I'm doing.. I understand port numbers and all that ish.. but I can't get it to work.. I'm sure I'm going to have to edit files but which ones.. and do I need php and some type of service running on the exchange server??

I have yet to find anywhere, here and search engines.. on how to set this up with microsoft exchange server!! very upsetting because I like ostickets layout!! Help would be appriciated if possible..

2 questions:

1. Do you have the exchange server setup to POP email?

2. Is the OSticket server and the Exchange server one and the same?

Need more data before anyone can provide an answer!

I am needing some of the same help.

YES, My exchange box is set up with POP & IMAP turned on automatically in the services MMC. I am on Exchange 2003 on a windows 2003 sp2 machine.

NO, my osTicket is on a seperate server as my Exchange box. osTicket is on my MySQL box though.

I am planning on upgrading to Exchange 2010 in a few weeks; if that matters.

Any help would be appreciated.
