Greetings,
After a long and rather tedious search, I decided on osTicket for use in my organization.
I decided to create a sub-domain, and install the system on the webserver in a space that is not in the public_html. I am sure this is where my issue lies.
The problem is that every facet of the site works, except the ability to make changes to the default message templates.
When I update them I get a generic error and if I go back to the page, then all of my changes are gone.
Is there anything that I can do to update the message templates in the system? I would like to use the web interface and not have to edit php directly, but I can do that if I know what to change.
In case it matters, the reason the system was not placed in the www root dir is because I am using another framework for the main website, and the osTicket install is available via the subdomain I created, or in an iframe static page. Up to this point, there have been no issues with the software so far.
And kudos on the release yesterday... I had downloaded the RC and came back literally 5 minutes later to see that it had gone stable. Good timing, I guess.
thanks again!
Troy
