My question is: its osTicket death?

Thanks for the laugh. You really have no idea the amount of time and effort that's being poured into osTicket lately.
If it were dead, we wouldn't be responding to threads on the forums, answering support requests, fixing bugs, and telling people what's going to be added in the next version.
1.6 final will be released soon and we're hard at work on many improvements to come after that, which will make osTicket even better.
In fact, osTicket development is more active now than it has been in a long time, and yes, there is a lot of that you don't see, but that doesn't mean it's not happening.
It never has been a "release something every 2 weeks" project. We're not going to release half-finished features and changes implemented without proper testing, just so we can then put out more fixes the next week all in the name of looking busy.
We're too busy actually building useful software that works to waste time with that.
Kelli,
It's good to see the community here shaping up once again in terms of numbers and regular modifications :) It just demonstrates the flexibility of an open-source project which, as you say, makes you laugh when people create topics such as this one. Keep up the good work! We'll still be here :
Thanks! We appreciate the kind words. :)
We'll actually be releasing some updates, and pretty exciting news items, quite soon.
I am looking forward to test the 1.6 final :)

That is, quite possibly, one of the best emoticons ever.
If all things go according to plan, we will release it sometime this week.
I see that Peter has gone through and updated the bugs I filed. Hopefully my suggested fixes were OK. Is this the multi-language version that I saw bits of on one of your websites or is 1.6 the 1.6rc5 rolled up with the bugfixes and patches to date ?
This isn't the multi-language version, but this does fix a lot of bugs in 1.6 and add some new features. Work on the next version, which will have the multilingual support, is already well underway, though, and we'll be posting more info on that when we make the official 1.6 release announcement later this week. I don't believe the new files are actually up yet.
