Repurposing Existing Field

While I want to learn how to add new fields, I have an immediate need to just change how an existing one is used.

I can leave the SUBJECT FIELD the way it is for now, but want to change the label to VIN wherever it appears. Ultimately, I want to restrict to 17 alpha/numeric characters, but that's not critcal right now.

What files do I need to modify to change SUBJECT to VIN - LABEL ONLY?

It's OK if the data goes into the subject field in the database for now.

If you don't want to create the new fields, all you will need to do is edit the titles within the HTML. If you read through it, you should find your way.
