tickets received by email have problems with backslash

If an email is received by osTicket with the following bodytext:

c:\test\file1.txt

The following is included in the ticket-thread:

c.txt

The backslashes have been removed, is there any way to solve this issue?

We have upgraded to the latest rev of OSticket 1.6 ST and are still having issues with this. This issue a show stopper for using this application for an IT helpdesk.

If we respond to a help ticket using the web interface with body text like:

\\Server\Share

Our response that the user sees in the email looks like:

\ServerShare

I also have this problem. Two backslash are property printed in osTicket but in e-mail one of them is missing.
