Timezone Problem

hi, i am using version 1.6 RC5, i have a problem about my Timezone, I already set the Timezone GMT8.0 (Singapore), but in my ticket show the time is no same as my Time, For example now my time is 9.47am but the ticket show 5.48am, Can i know what is the problem?

im grasping here but where is your host at, if you host is in another time zone it may go off your host time and you may have to adjust further.. im prob way off the mark but just the first thing that hit me, but as i said im grasping..

Hi, thank for your reply, we are using localhost in our office, i already at the server set the right time, and timezone, but the OSticket still not at the same time.

Hey guys,

I think I've made some headway with this problem on our end....

When setting up the system, I set all the timezones and DST settings as they should be for our location. But, I kept having problems with none of the times showing up right, except for the examples in the settings and preferences pages. I started poking around with random settings to see what it'd show up as....

I wound up setting everyone's profile AND global settings to GMT with no DST offset, and tickets are showing up fine. It seems it's offsetting from the server clock, which is set correct to the region, so it was treating the server as GMT. Or, so I assume.

I'm still going to put it through it's paces and test around more with some other users, but it's looking resolved as of now.

FWIW, we're on a Win2K8R2 box running Xampp.
