How to Customize the Ticket Number in osTicket v1.6 RC5

Hi Masino,

I have implemented this MOD to test it. It works well except that the new ticket ID with the custom portion are not search-able on the staff ticket view page. Can you look into this please?

Sure. :

I have modified the (original article).

See the additional instructions from the forth step until the last step of the article. The problem caused by the is_numeric() function that still implemented for verifying the ticketID. It should be removed too.

I have tested it, and now it works properly. Apologized for the missing step, and thanks for reminding me.
