Allow file attachments with new ticket

I just installed osTicket just fine. I went to test submitting a new support ticket through the web interface and there is no way for a user to upload a file with the initial support request. This is a must. How can I make this work?

Go into Admin Panel - Settings - Attachments

Check "Allow Attachments"

Check "Allow online attachments upload"

Leave "Authenticated users Only. (User must be logged in to upload files)" unchecked.

Enter the maximum filesize in bytes (or just use the system default)

In "Attachment folder" enter the full path to where you want attachments stored. This directory must be writable (CHMOD to 0755)

Under "Accepted File Types" enter a list of acceptable file extensions, separated by a comma (e.g. '.txt, .doc, .jpg')

I am writing path as www.example.com/attachment(www.example.com/attachment)

Showing "Directory must be valid and writeable"

But I have changed CHMOD to 0755.

How to write path of folder?

Please give an example path using folder "attachment"

You need the path on the server, not the URL

i.e. /home/your_username/public_html/osticket/uploads or whatever.

The path to your website's root directory will vary depending on your server configuration. You can find it by creating a file with the following code, uploading it to your site, and pointing your browser to it:

Cant get attachment

Good PM! We were able to install the OSTicket successfully except for that i cant receive the attachment being sent to me. We're using PHP 5 in our server. Is it a conflict when if OSTicket is running on PHP4? We already tried the CHMOD to 0075 but but no attachment still. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
