notify staff members of their accounts?

I'm trying to figure out how to notify staff members when I create their accounts.

Is it possible to send out a notification email to them? Anyone know?

Nice idea, would be useful when adding staff to notify them of their account details, or possibly an option to remind them.

sorry for not replying sooner! somehow i ironically had email notifications turned off for thread replies, etc. :)

i am running version v1.6 RC5.

thank you very much for taking the time to write a notification script, i really appreciate it! i've replaced the code as you directed and am hoping that my office's junk mail filter won't send the automated message into the rubbish bin.
