I'm looking at trying this out at my workplace and have a couple of questions.

1 - Is it possible to to use MS Exchange as the mail server to be connected to? I'm thinking so if IMAP or POP is enabled on the account ?

2 - If it can connect, would if have problems with @[deleted] addresses / accounts or would it need to be @[deleted] ?

3 - Would it be possible to not need a password to log a ticket given that if we use @[deleted] the name would be quite well know given a small 50 person company.

3 a - If we maintain a list of user names (or intergrate LDAP / AD), could the username be verified when entered?

To answer your first question, you can use either pop or imap for email. I am currently using it on pop3 email. your second question is that yes you can use either .local or .com. it depends on if it is only for internal purposes, as long as it is a vaild email address on exchange. question 3 and someone can correct me if i am wrong, but it is required to login as admin. However, users do not have to login. Your last question someone else has to answer because i am not sure what is a good way to have the LDAP work.

Ive been getting emails msgs about certain posts under the heading Moderator something something. I open the email and it instructs me to click on a link. When I click on the it asks for a password..what password do I use? I use the password that I use on the forum and it says incorrect.
