Thank you thank you thank you to the OS Ticket team. Bravo!
We have OS up and running, and it is helping us very much.
I'm trying something new here...
We sometimes have users submit an on-line form, which generates an email that we then respond to. We wanted to convert this incoming email into a ticket automatically - so we can be sure that it is followed up on appropriately and to completion.
I tried to "create a filter" on gmail to automatically forward these messages to OSTicket. Here is the strange thing....
OS TIcket is receiving the forward and adding it to the que. HOWEVER, it is picking up the SUBJECT only, and putting the SUBJECT of the email in both the subject of the ticket (which it should) and the body of the ticket. It is NOT adding the body of the email to the body of the ticket.
I've tried to send an email directly, or forward the same form manually - and this works just fine. Something is happening different when the gmail filter auto forwards the message.
Any ideas?
