Google apps imap or pop3 pickup email not working

Hey just wondering can ya help me,

I have setup osticket and running and have setup email account support@mydomain.ie

Email updated successfully, all settings seams to have taken ok into Email addresses configuration. Sending email does not seam to be issue using port 465 and smtp host ssl://smtp.gmail.com but picking up email from google apps domain does not seam to be working.

Am running cron.php every 5 minutes as shown in wiki but does not seam to be picking up email.

Have tired pop3 and also imap neather work.

Also getting this error message

Cryptography extension mcrypt is not enabled or installed. IMAP/POP passwords are being stored as plain text in database.

I have the same issue. I get a green banner telling me "Email updated successfully" when I change the settings. I can use the same credentials used on the settings page to access the email from my server.

Cron is running every 10 minutes, also tried autocron on user activity. Running the cron command from command line doesn't give any errors.

I am using Google Apps for domains.

Any thoughts?

SO sorry - feel like a proper lemon.

I missed the all important tick box... you know the one: Enable POP/IMAP email fetch (Global setting which can be disabled at email level)

Is there any way to send Support - Emails via SMTP of Gmail?

smtp.g**glemail.com > Port 465

SSL ??? < I think that is the Problem?!?!?!?!

Userdata for login is correct!

Found ISSUE

If I use: ssl://smtp.googlemai.com @ configuration panel, it works fine. Thx for help...

Google Apps does not work for me with IMAP + SMTP. Always try to POP + SMTP
