Email Configuration

Hello there.

I have read so many post about email issues, but nothing help me out.

I have installed Osticket 16rc5. Is not sending notification emails at all, any idea?.

I'll appreciate any comment. I'll keep looking, if i get anything I'll post it.

When i try to enable SMTP i get this:

authentication failure

We need more info about your env, Windows? Linux? I can help you with linux.

i get same thing on godaddy linux server. lemme know what else you need to diagnose.

so i just turned of authentication and it worked.. what does that do?
