Installtion help

I am new to php and i don't know anything of php. But i have installed

php and configured it with apache. I tried the steps to install it. But i couldnt.

Any help will be appreciated.Is there any step by step guide?

I want to install it on localhost and i am using mysql.

Please help me.

i managed to go up to the Basic Installation page and i entered all the values

and clicked install, i get a blank page. i don't know i have followed the correct

instructions or not. please someone help me.
