attachments not being processed

I have enabled attachments on the settings page, set a size of 10 megs, way above what my attachments are.

I have created the directory, entered the full path, gave it permissions, started out with 600 for the www-data user then moved all the way to 777.

I have entered the path with a / at the end and without it. The path right now is /var/www/scp/attachments/

I have moved the directory in and out of the scp directory.

So what else might I be doing wrong? I would love to read the logs to see if there are any errors but I have no idea where there are any logs?

I would really appreciate any kind of help.

Did you make sure that the extension of the file you are attaching is listed Accepted File Types field?

for now I have .* in there.

I have not found where it saves the log files to be honest. Just as a test, try removing the .* and adding in the exact extension of a file and try that. Just for testing purposes.

That didn't fix it. I put .pdf and sent a pdf and nothing.

No luck. I really hope this thing has logs somewhere.

Are you sure the full path of your attachment directory for your osTicket System in your web server is: "/var/www/scp/attachments" ?

Please try this following tip to get or make sure the real path of your web root directory:

Well all I had to do is move it out of the scp directory, however I had that before and it wasn't working, so I don't know what else did it. Do I need 777 permission? I know I started with 600 and owned by www-data.

Also are there logs anywhere? I am right now stuck trying to get the cron to work, the autocron works fine but then the cron wont.
