Need help with this MOD (text editor)

im using ckeditor to show all the options for the reply.

it works but in the mail shows something like this:

Testing Hope this Work

and in viewticket show only simple text.

Need help!

i think o have to add or modify something in class.format.php but i dont know what.

Sounds like you're sending HTML in a text email. You have to change the email type to HTML or strip_tags to get rid of the HTML tags.

viewticket is actually stipping the tags. You can undo that to show the WYSIWYG HTML-based content.

You need to modify your OSTicket install before this will work. I just followed this thread http://osticket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901(http://osticket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901) and the links within and now have full HTML emails being sent out and the ticket thread is displayed in both plain text or HTML, depending on the content contained in the DB (if HTML tags are found, display HTML. else plain text).

Also be aware of the Format: function in class.format.php. This function strips ALL HTML tags from any data that is being put into the DB and is used extensively when creating a new ticket or displaying ticket threads. You will need to modify quite a bit of code in order for the information to be stored with full HTML tags in place, the link i provided touches on this in enough detail for you to easily remove the ones you don't need or want... but don't expect the tutorial to "hand-hold" you the whole way ;) I did pull my hair out a few times working on this myself :)
