Installation Error

Hi there,

I'm using a linux-based shared hosting service and upon installation, I get the following error:

Invalid SQL schema. Get help from Developers

Within the Database section, I get the error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax.

It seems funny that about 6 months ago, I went through the installation process and had osTicket working perfectly by going through the setup instructions. With this latest build, I've been trying to get this up and running all day but I just get one problem after another (php piping not working for me at all using cPanel 11 and I even have tickets into my hosting provider).

Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated as I've had nothing but good experiences with the program when it's working!

Solved the installation problem

Even though the installation instructions say that all you need to install are CREATE, DROP and ALTER permissions, this causes the installation error I was experiencing. By giving the database full priviliges, osTicket installed as expected.

Now on to the other problem of piping...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for noting that you have to have full priv for the dbase. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out why I was getting the "Invalid SQL schema" error. Ugh! Please update the Installation document! It's not very good, and it's riddled with both spelling and grammatical errors!
