Attachments Upload option not on Open Page

This wk, I successfully downloaded and installed the latest vs and did some minor customization of the footer and header. Also added text to the open.inc.php, ie "Message (include invoice number):"

My Open Tickets page does not show the attachments box and browse button. Nothing appears below the Priority drop-down selection. I entered a valid attachments folder path and turned on ALL the attachment features to get this to work.

I don't know PHP but I do see the code for handling attachments in the open.inc.php

Why doesn't the attachments field show up on the screen?

Same Issue, No Where To Actually Attach Files

I hate to piggy-back someone else's post but I have the same issue.

As far as I can tell I have attachments set up properly in the admin (even the pesky relative URL is right) but when I try and login as a "user" to test I see no place to actually add my attachment?

Version (v1.6 ST).

Check your php.ini file

file_uploads = On

OsTicket checks this option before showing the webpage. If file_uploads = Off, osTicket will not show the Attachments button

Changing this parameter requires a php service reboot
