Time on Tickets not in right TZ

I have two problems.

First, all my tickets are showing up in the wrong timezone. They all show up as GMT 0.0. I have checked my settings. I logged in as the admin account. checked the Settings > Prefs and it is set to GMT -5 (Eastern) and then I have checked each users Pref's and they are all set to GMT -5. But the ticket is still showing GMT 0. Server time shows up as like 4 hours ahead. The actual server the software is installed on has the correct time and so does mysql when I do a select now();

Second, my daylight savings is not working. The time in the Pref's shows an hour behind what it should be. Also, the time will not change if I have DST checked or unchecked. So, if its 10 AM, my osTicket time shows 9 AM with DST checked and 9 AM with it unchecked.

I am having the same issue. I saw a note someone made in the include/class.misc.php file:

/* misc date helpers...this will go away once we move to php 5 */

I'm running PHP5 myself so I wonder if it may have something to do with that. I'll let you know if I'm able to find anything further. :(

There are two places to set your timezone; one is in the admin panel where you describe that your set. The other is in "My Preferences".

Be sure they are both correct.
