My Company Needs an Oversight Group

I have a need for a "Look but Don't Touch" group where its members will be able to view all open, closed and assigned tickets for all departments without being able to perform any functions other than look.

I tried creating an oversight department along with an oversight group that allows access to view all departments. I disabled every group option available but unfortuantely, they are still allowed to do more than I'd like.

What can I do to disable all functions beyond viewing?

How much information do they need to be able to see? If not much, it may be easier to create a whole new page for them with no restrictions that's very minimalistic and simple.

If they could see everything on the tickets screen except for the tabs/functions at the bottom of the page, and the action/priority pull-downs, that would be perfect.

I can't code, but I can follow instructions fairly intuitivley. Is this something simple enough that you, or anyone else, would be willing to walk me through?

I don't have time to work on this, but what you could do is use your department name as a way to decide what links / tabs to show the end users. It's definitely doable if you can find someone that has some time to work on this for you. Can be done by someone that has a basic understanding of the osTicket code in a few hours.
