3 issues for this great program.
1. After you install it, you have to manually change all fields encoding through PHP MyAdmin, to get database in utf-8, if you are going to use it latvian or russian. I`ts a hassle.
2. After that, you recieve e-mail messages, encoding of which is not recognized by neither Kontact, nore Outlook. I added a line
'Content-Type' =>'text/plain; charset="utf-8"',
in class.email.php apr 165 and 216 just before
'X-Mailer' =>'osTicket v 1.6'
and now e-mail alerts are readeble.
I am not a professional in programing, but hope this will help some people, who are struggling with language customization.
3. Will it be possible to get some reports on tickets in future?
