Auto Refresh Main Page - Potential Solution too?!?

Hi all,

I've used and loved PHPJunkyard's HESK (Help-Desk) Solution for some time.

This is a suggestion which I made, and the developer came back with a solution.

CAN WE GET THE MAIN VIEW OF OPEN TICKETS TO REFRESH EVERY THIRTY SECONDS?

It worked well because in Hesk it uses admin_main.php for the open ticket list, whilst uses show_tickets.php when actually specifying a search criteria. This means the refresh it ONLY ever done on the main page.

I look forward to hearing anyone's thoughts.

You can do what they did.

In /scp/tickets.php under: require_once(INCLUDE_DIR.'class.banlist.php'); add:

define('MAIN_PAGE',1);

if(defined('MAIN_PAGE') && !isset($_GET) && !isset($_GET) && !isset($_GET)) {

echo "<meta http-equiv='refresh' content='30'>";

}

It should only refresh when on the main ticket page.

Minor modification I made was moving the block of code:

if(defined('MAIN_PAGE') && !isset($_GET) && !isset($_GET) && !isset($_GET)) {

echo "<meta http-equiv='refresh' content='30'>";

}

just under

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

in /include/staff/header.inc.php -- this was a little cleaner for me as it puts the META tag in the of the document.
