fatal error on admin panel

I have just installed ost, everything is fine until I click admin panel at the end, it gives me "Fatal error..get tech support"

any help would be much apreciated

The "Fatal error..get tech support" message is a result of path issues. Mainly missing main.inc.php in the root dir - which I admit doesn't make sense at all given that you completed the installation.

PM me if you want help debug the issue on your server.

Hi Peter, you are correct, its not there, in fact i have searched the source file and i dont have it.

how do i resolve that?

Who knows what other files are missing. Upload the files again and make sure all files are uploaded.

Fatal error for Welcome Screen

Hi all,

I just completed the upgrade to OST1.6_rc5. Installer script ran fine, admin section runs fine. However the Welcome Screen now shows nothing but a fatal error.

To make sure no files are missing I copied all files to the server again. No change, it seems buggered. Any suggestions?

Fixed it - missing file issue, I just did a new file copy from a fresh download.

Time to give this version of OST a further spin
