Grab IP, Hostname, et Al.

Hi,

I'm in a primarily windoze shop with typical end users that still can't tell the difference between "Shut Down" and "Reboot".

At New ticket creation time, Is it possible to have OS ticket grab the following info from the local PC and auto-populate fields on the page (which would then be stored in the DB):

Local PC Hostname

IP Address

Gateway address

Has anyone ever done this or something similar? I'm afraid I'm not a coder, but my partner back here in the "Technical Janitor's Closet" is becoming fairly proficient with PHP.

Any help would be great.

In short, what I need is some way of grabbing the information in the following registry locations on windoze XP:

ComputerName

DetectedInterfaceIps

DefaultGateway
