Firstly let me apologize. My coding skills are non existent! I am able to follow instructions along with the best, but that's as far as it goes.
I have a bad feeling that what i am looking for is something possibly quite large and maybe well beyond what i should be looking at.
Basically i think OS Ticket is great! very simple to configure and use. But unfortunately along with every other ticket system out there it doesn't do EXACTLY what i need. But being open source i am hoping i can edit it to get it to match my needs.
I am not really sure where to begin, but the easiest way of explaining this is i need a client section. What i mean by this is i want to be able to input all client details such as telephone number and email on one page. Then when that client calls me to log a ticket i can log it and select the company (which was pre inputted) which will auto generate names, emails and contact numbers.
Further to this i would like to be able to search tickets by company. This would allow me to view how many tickets have been logged over a set period by a set company.
I hope this makes sense!! Is this something that's possible? Already Been Done? Can you point me in the right direction? Basically any help what so ever is appreciated!
